ArteiN: history and context

The path that led to the creation of ArteiN Gallery spans three generations.

In the 1930s, Renato Boni launched the first auction houses between Paris, Rome, and Fiuggi, laying the foundations for a business rooted in the art market and collecting.

With Francesco Boni, this journey entered the world of television: art began to be communicated to a wider audience, fundamentally transforming the relationship between artworks, artists, and viewers.

With the third generation, Gabriele Boni has led this experience into the Internet era. This gave rise to ArteInvestimenti, a project that has captured the shift in both audience and market, providing information, guidance, and consultancy at a time when collecting has become more informed and more active.

In the summer of 2025, ArteiN Gallery was founded, bringing together and further developing the experience accumulated over time across publishing, outreach, exhibitions, gallery work, and auction activities.

The gallery is based in Monza and inaugurates its journey with the awarding of the ArteiN Award.

ArteiN – Arte In Magazine

ArteiN Magazine was founded in 1988 as a publication dedicated to Italian and international art.

In 2020, the editorial direction passed to Marzia Spatafora and Francesco Boni.

The magazine was redesigned in both form and content, introducing a new visual identity, a renewed editorial structure, and an opening toward digital platforms.

Today, Arte In Magazine is an editorial platform focused on:

art criticism, contemporary narratives, attention to artistic research, and dialogue between traditional and digital languages.

It continues to play an active role in narrating and promoting contemporary art.
